Colorful flags were also hung there for decoration. Atmosphere of college was full with enthusiasm. Everything looked fetching and enchanting.
We could see a great spirit among the people who were present there. About two hundred participants attended the programme including students, teachers and other staff members. Everyone donated their blood one by one. About hundred units of blood were collected. Every donor was given fruits and juice as refreshment.
After that the doctor came forward. In her words she conveyed the message to people that blood donation is a kind of charity and it is above all the charities. Even one drop of blood can save a life of a dying person. We should donate our blood for needy. We can save the life of a person by donating our blood in time. Donating blood does not affect our body. Every person must donate blood atleast twice a year. At last the programme ended and all the participants were given a certificate and the Director of the college thanked all the doctors and nursing staff along with Rotary Blood Bank. That was really a very beautiful and inspiring day for everyone present.
