The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at IILM-CET was established in the year 2002. The branch offers full-time B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and M.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).The faculty is highly qualified and experienced in various fields of ECE. The faculty is committed towards engineering education to provide a vibrant and optimal learning environment to the students to help them excel in today’s competitive environment.
The Department of ECE aims at higher learning, knowledge, and growth of its students. We provide M. Tech degree with specialization in Electrical and Electronics Engineering that provides a wider range for research work to its students in the field of electrical power system, electrical machines, power electronics, electrical drives and instrumentation & control system. Since Electronics is the new defining discipline for the future generations, our students have galore of opportunities and we ensure their placements at the most optimum place. ECE Students of IILM have no looking back in their future and continue to achieve exemplary success for the years to come.
Our research activities cover a wide range of projects out of which few are funded by the government agencies such as UPCST and AKTU. Some of our ongoing and completed projects are online voting system, electrical appliance controlled using IoT, pre-paid energy meter, IC tester, power system and machines to breakthroughs in various technologies that will enhance communications across our global society. The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering provides academic expertise and support to the IILM-CET’s multidisciplinary research areas like quantum communication, quantum cryptography, quantum robotics, and also several other designs.

About ElectroSapien:ElectroSapien is a platform for students to realize their technical ideasspecially in the burning field of electronics while focusing on overall personality development by encompassing writing, reading, presentation and leadership skills. It aspires to create future leaders with updated technological knowledge and can be visualized as a gifted asset for the society. It strives to develop creative thinking, verbal communication and quantitative reasoning to augment human resource potential and overall elevate human well-being.
Activities: ElectroSapien includes the following four activities:

1) Pitch an Idea:To kindle the spirit of innovation among students, it encourages student to come forth with innovative ideas that can bring a positive change in the society and overall benefit human life.
2) Paper Presentation:To provide a space for students to express their technical writing and communication skills. It envisions to tap their potential and present in a genuine and comprehensive way.
3) Model Presentation: To provide a great workspace and comprehensive inventory to exercise young minds, it aims to demonstrate the innovate ideas in form of models (workable or non-workable).
4) Technical Talk: To enrich students with technical insights provided by professionals having in-depth knowledge in their specialization and to serve the purpose of engineering scientific and advancements in technology.
About Expressions:Expressions is IILM dramatic club which aims to indoctrinate aesthetic sensibilities and cultural diversity of students in order to promote extracurricular educational messages in form of student theatre.
Activities: Dramatics, full length plays, storytelling, street plays, inspirational videos.
