Historically, Civil Engineering has remained one of the pioneer tools to improve the living pattern and the lifestyle of the mankind by harmonizing, recycling and balanced use of the natural resources available on the Earth.The Mission of a Civil Engineer is to facilitate the civil society in the betterment of their lifestyle with economy and safety.The vision of the Civil Engineer is to visualize life and futuristic requirement of humankind and be prepared to face the anticipated challenges within the resources available on the mother Earth.
Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
1. To adapt higher education, research work and patenting for which clearing GATE with good percentile, basic knowledge of scoring subjects like Maths, SOM, Survey, Structure Analysis, Design of dams, foundations, buildings and roads including bridges with related software knowledge and relevant IS- Code and all numerical based subjects.
2. To go for job placement after B. Tech in Civil / Government departments for which subjects like Survey, SOM, BMC, Quality Control, thorough practical knowledge of all tests and latest building material, their conservation and recycling
3. Exposed to the impacts of the development on social, cultural, psychological and economic aspects and bring awareness of measures to overcome them. The emphasis accordingly would be on aspects more related towards higher studies, specialization, research work, patenting and innovations.

Objective of Club: To achieve the goal of excellence in the field of technology, providing a base for those zealous and industrious students, so that they can grow, nurture and explore the opportunities which are lying in front of them is the need of the hour.
Developing a platform where the technical innovativeness of students could be nurtured and given a practical shape so as to improve the technical abilities of students as well as enhancing the technical innovativeness of students by organizing workshops and competitions on various technical cadre definitely attracts the interests of a student to the technicality of their Education. This can also Provide a platform where the students can put their innovative efforts transform them into reality.
Events will be planned and catered according to the needs of the Students which in the process can contribute to enhancing the Academic Effectiveness of the Institution and Educational Experience of the Students.

Capturing Visions - Department Of Civil Engineering
Objective of Club: To promote creativity through photography, to share and critique the photographs of peers, to educate and improve technical skills and to spread the love of photography throughout IILM campus. To provide a platform to develop the art and techniques of photography by providing opportunities for individual and discussion and the exchange of ideas and information. To provide a friendly environment in club where all members can acquire, develop and practice new skills and meet new friends. To organize field trips of photographic interest and social events.
