Magnetic Levitation (Maglev) Technology (Prototype of Bullet Train)
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), students are preparing a prototype of Bullet Train under the supervision of Mr. Awadhesh Maurya, Asst. Prof. Dept. of ECE. This project was initiated by the electrical and electronics engineering students (Ankit, Jitesh Kumar Singh, Punit Teotia, Robin Tyagi and Satish Kumar Yadav) of 2016-17 batch.
This prototype has three basic parts – Track System, Train System and Control Unit. The students of batch 2016-17 prepaid the model of Track System (depict in figure 1 and 2). Now this project is taken over by Kamaljit Singh, Neha Senger, Tanuja Kujur, Mukul Tyagi, Sana Embroze and Rajat of the current ECE batch. They are working on the Train System and Control Unit of this model. The bullet train has many features but the main feature of this project is its wireless controlling.
In designing this revolutionary prototype students have expanded the knowledge of Magnetic Levitation (Maglev) Technology. They have themselves integrated the components of the track. Now they are working on the designing of the train. Apart from mastering the technical knowledge students have learnt many other aspects of life like, team spirit, interpersonal skills and collaborative working. This will surely help them in developing their personality and excelling in their future projects.
